Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actress from Canada. Most well-known for her character as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards as well as four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. She played the same role in the films Sex and the City 2008 as well as Sex and the City 2 2010. Also, she was the leading actor on the film Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often connected to her iconic HBO show, Sex & the City, where she portrayed Samantha Jones. Prior to her career as an actress, the Skane-born model had a career in fashion. In the end, she won her first prize in the Miss Sweden Contest. In the following year, her performance on the screen in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
